Ruth Ann Caplinger

Caplinger, Ruth Ann, age 90 of Germantown passed away October 26, 2016 at Siena Woods nursing home.  She was born to the late Walter and Mary (Baker) DeHaven in Dayton, OH.  Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Robert, 4 brothers, and 1 sister.  Ruth Ann is survived by her sons Robert and Phil Caplinger, daughter Susan Schweitzer, grandchildren John (Anita) Caplinger, Susan (John) Legate, Jennifer (Jonathan) Moore, great grandchildren Hannah, Danielle, Lauren, Owen, and Holden, and her brother Ted (Barbara) DeHaven.  The family would like to thank the staff at Siena Woods for their wonderful care of Ruth Ann for the past 4 years.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at 7:00PM at the Arpp & Root Funeral Home, 29 N Main St. Germantown with Pastor Todd Smith officiating, the family will receive friends 2 hours prior to the service beginning at 5:00PM.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Ruth Ann’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association of Miami Valley, 31 W. Whipp Rd.  Dayton, OH  45459.
