Sharon Phillips

Sharon L. Phillips, age 77 of Germantown, OH passed away unexpectedly on March 8th, 2024 at Kettering Hospital after a brief illness. Sharon was born in Dayton, OH to the late Wilbur and Betty (Ennis) Boyer, graduated from Miamisburg High School, class of 1965 and was a lifelong member of Trinity Church in Miamisburg where she sang in the choir. Sharon loved her family more than anything and spending time with them was her greatest joy. She rarely missed an event the grandchildren were involved in, and was always sure to keep the kids updated on the weather. Sharon and her husband owned and operated Church's Flower shop for 27 years. After retiring from the flower shop she continued to give back to the community by volunteering her time at Trinity Church, and also helping deliver food for Sonshine in a bag. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, whom she always enjoyed singing with, Linda Simpson, and her twin sister Judy Bray. Sharon is survived by her husband of 55 years Bill Phillips, her sons Kevin (Amanda), Joel (Jill), Ryan (Tiffany) Phillips, grandchildren Cameron, Caden, Reiley, Ella, Gavin, Kenzie, and Kyla Phillips, as well as numerous extended family members, church family, and friends who will miss her dearly. The family will receive friends for a visitation on Friday, March 15, 2024 from 4-6pm at Germantown First Church of God, 760 Farmersville Pike, Germantown OH 45327. Funeral Services will follow beginning at 6:00pm with Pastor Joe Getts officiating. Burial will be private at Germantown Union Cemetery.
