Thomas Sowders, Jr.

Sowders, Thomas L., Jr., age 70 of Middletown passed away on December 15, 2019 at the Atrium Medical Center. He was born in Dayton, OH to the late Thomas Sowders, Sr., and Wanda (Brown) Sowders. Thomas previously owned Romar Skating Rink in Germantown, and retired from Baxter. He was a member of the Eagles, was an avid fisherman, loved animals, the north woods, and classic country music. Thomas loved being outside and had a love hate relationship with his yard work, he loved to reminisce and tell stories, he was a great storyteller. Thomas is survived by his life partner, Randy Ring, of Middletown, his brother Gary (Tina) Sowders, nephews Gary Lee (Jennifer) Sowders, Jr., Evan Joseph Thomas Sowders, and his neice Dakota Maze who all affectionately referred to him as "J.R.". Thomas was a friend to everyone and never knew a stranger and in the words of his favorite artist Patsy Cline we will always remember your last song, "Sweet Dreams".
