Timothy D. Ferri

Timothy D. Ferri, affectionately known as Tim, of Farmersville, OH passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at the age of 69. Tim was born in Charleston, SC on August 30, 1955, the second child of Joseph, Sr., and Catherine “Mickey” (Bozzelli) Ferri. After a lung transplant in 2018, Tim recently developed several health conditions that resulted in his passing.

Tim was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting white-tailed deer, fishing, good books, chess, and discovering the hidden treasures of the Native American culture in the form of arrowheads. Tim loved to be in the woods surrounded by nature, camping with friends and family, and telling a great story.

Tim met his wife Martha at an oyster roast in Charleston, SC in 1977. They fell in love and got married on February 25, 1978 and spent 47 wonderful years together. Tim had an illustrious career with Dayco that took him around the country from South Carolina, Tennessee, Kansas, Florida, Missouri, and finally to Dayton, OH. Tim took his expertise in Supply Chain and Quality Management and went to Formica in Cincinnati then to SunStar in Springboro, where he spent the last 15 years of his career until he retired in October 2023.

Tim was predeceased by his parents, his brother Joey Ferri Jr., and his sister Susie Ferri. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Martha, their sons Jonothon (Amy) of Brookville, OH and Robert (Angie), of Brookville, OH, and daughter Fran (Ryan) of Madison, WI, his brothers, Pete (Lauren) of Meggett, SC, and Michael (Kathleen) of Wadmalaw Island, SC, and his sister Laura Donnelly (Ed) of Charleston, SC, his grandchildren Loren, MaKenna, Addison, and Elayna, his devoted niece Sabrina Ferri, and many extended family members along with a large circle of dear friends. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made to the Cleveland Clinic (Cleveland Clinic Donation) to help others in need of a transplant or critical care health needs.

There will be an Outdoor Memorial for Tim to celebrate his life sent out at a later date for family and friends to attend.
