Veda DeGroat

DeGroat, Veda Mae (Nee Eby) age 79, of Farmersville left this world Thursday May 16, 2013. A kind, cheerful, loving woman who loved nothing better than being surrounded by her extended family, holding babies, baking pies, sewing clothing, gardening and helping with her boys 4-H club. She is survived by her devoted husband of 36 years, Lester DeGroat; six sons, Don(Margie) Fogle, Roger(Janis) Fogle, Bob(Sheila) Fogle, Randy (Karla) Fogle, Tom (Gina) Fogle and Chris (Amber) Fogle; step son Rick (Donna) Degroat; 19 grandchildren and numerous great grand children, brothers Dareld Eby, Bob Eby and sister Doris O’Diam, sister-in-law Eileen Eby and Dottie Eby. Proceeded in death by her parents Orville and Clara Mae (Shell) Eby;  High School sweetheart and husband of 20 years Mark V. Fogle; step daughter Patricia Rich, son-in-law C.E. Rich, brothers  Roy Eby and Kenny Eby; brother-in-law John O’Diam and sister-in laws Martha Eby and Virginia Eby. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m.Tuesday May 21st. at the Arpp & Root Funeral Home. Pastor Mark Williams officiating, burial Holp Cemetery.  The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
